But are there no problems with a vehicle on two legs? The AT-ST seems very top heavy to me. It must be a marvel of engineering to have something like this walk through mildly uneven terrain and not fall over. Is it just me?

The problem was that the power cells SCS swapped the dead ones for were broken (The game outright said so right next to the "hit points" counter). So I guess that meant that they couldn't discharge.

No armour is impenetrable. And has been mentioned somewhere before, even if the projectile you shoot at the Death Angles dosent penetrate, it should do serious damage to their insides by kinetic energy transfer. One other point, they can bleed, meaning they can be killed with the right tools 😊

ISV type ships have actually been super popular design concepts since at least the 80's or 90's, even getting NASA approval. The most popular "ISV-Type" design before Avatar were from the likes of Charles Pellegrino, Jim Powell, John Barnes in collaboration with Buzz mf Aldrin. He actually hired tons of consultants from multiple space agencies and other engineers to make something work.

I know how you feel. I was placed on planet Dirt, sorry Earth about 49 Earth years ago in a mind controlled homunculus that resembles the dominant species well enough to pass as one of them. The only thing I dont recall is why it was such an issue in the first place, they thought it'd be a one way mission because they didn't know if they could dial back, but I can't for the life of me remember what the excuse was for why they couldn't just Keep Dialing IN, and just keep giving them more and more personelle and supplies. Yes I recall there being an issue regarding drift calculations and I vaguely recall them needing a zero point module but I don't remember the thing exploding or anything, SGC to my knowledge just utterly stopped trying after sending people through for no reason I can recall.

In that area of Dirt, there are many adjacent locations where a lot of extra-extraterrestrial probing can be had for the right amount of credits. The helmet and gloves wouldn't be a factor if the credits are right.
